Carol Wold Sindt, Chief Operating Officer
Biography
Carol Sindt is Chief Operating Officer of Bremer Law, P.C., a law firm specializing
in the legal, business, and regulatory issues affecting the communications
industry. Bremer Law works with government agencies nationwide, manages regulatory
compliance, and directs critical projects such as initial and renewed operating
authority and transfers of ownership.
Expertise
For 22 years, Carol has been an expert in the development, execution, and integration
of the infrastructure of networking and desktop communication services. She
also has extensive experience in cable, fiber, and telephony systems, as
well as a strategic background in private industry and the public sector.
Career History
Prior to co-founding Bremer Law, Carol most recently worked at Larkin, Hoffman,
Daly & Lindgren, Ltd., in the Telecommunications Law department, where
she was responsible for drafting and acquiring Certificates of Authority
for competitive entry; coordinating a multi-million dollar data project;
and securing change in right-of-way construction standards for PCS providers
and CLECs in multiple cities. Carol also participated in transfers of franchises
and PUC dockets, and has developed interconnection agreements and global
marketing strategies.
Carol previously served as the Cable Officer/Director, Director of Client
Services, and Data Highway Project Director for the City of Minneapolis.
Carol was also responsible for government affairs and developed cable system
builds with cities when she served as the Director of Community Relations
and Public Affairs at Northern Cablevision, a division of Storer Cable.
Professional Activities
Carol is a former member of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan Council,
District 15, where she served on the Economic Development Committee and Management
Committee. She has also served as a member of the Democratic National Committee.
Education
Carol completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Minnesota.
